Get a dose of 'Donkey Therapy':-) Relax with our mini donkeys with your family or friends. Learn a little about the donkeys, brush them and then take them for a supervised hike on our trails or around the farm. Groups are limited to 6 people.

The Donkey Experience is now fully booked for 2026. If you have already purchased a gift certificate please contact Kim at 860.729.6310 to schedule your session. Plan a unique and memorable outing for your family or friends interacting with our miniature donkeys. Foster Hill Farm, located in Stafford, CT is a breeder of Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys. On any day you will find at least 30 adorable donkeys of all ages at the farm. Our volunteers have said that their time at the farm is 'Donkey Therapy'. We decided to open our farm up so that others will have the chance to experience these sweet creatures.
The Donkey Experience program begins with a short talk about the history of miniature donkeys. Each person is assigned their own donkey. Participants are taught how to safely halter, tie, lead and groom the donkeys. Everyone works at their own comfort level. Try as many…
