About the event
Learn all about pollinators. Â Why is it so important that we preserve and increase the numbers of pollinators? Â How do pollinators fit into our ecosystem? Â As gardeners what can we do to provide the right plants and habitats for the bees, butterflies and birds? Â Â Margery Winters, Assistant Director of Roaring Brook Nature Center, Founder of the Simsbury Educational Enhancement Foundation and President of the Simsbury Land Trust will share her knowledge with us. Â Â The Stafford Garden Club will also be on hand with information and resources, touching on the Pollinator Pathways program. Â Foster Hill Farm of Stafford is sponsoring this event. Â The event is free. Â Attendees will have the option of making a donation to the Stafford Garden Club at the door. Â Â The event is at the Stafford Senior Center but all ages are welcome:-)
