Herbalist Kassy Mashiak - Talk/Planter Event

Spend some time talking herbs with us and making your own herb planter to bring home.  The program includes a short lecture on herbs, their uses, how to grow and harvest them and a few of our favorites.  Herbalist Kassy Mashiak, owner of Kassandra's It's About Thyme - Herbs Unlimited, Somers, CT will be the speaker.  Kassy has 3 years experience with herbs.  She will focus on culinary herbs for this program.  Foster Hill Farm offers over 80 types of herbs including the basics and many that are unique and hard to find.  Kassy and Foster Hill Farm staff will be on hand to answer questions as you select the herbs you would like to use in your planter.  Our garden shop, greenhouses, gardens and barns will be open.  You are welcome to visit the donkeys or just relax in the garden, greenhouses or under the pergola. You may bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy during or after the program.  Ticket includes: 3 herb plants, potting mix and container.  Additional herbs will be available for purchase.  Facilities and handwash station on site.
