Foster Hill Farm in Stafford Springs grows over 100 varieties of heirloom tomato plants. Owner, Kim Milikowski, will talk about some of her favorite varieties and growing techniques. Demystify the tomato lingo...hybrid, open pollinated, heirloom, colors and leaf types. Learn about the new Dwarf Tomato varieties that are compact plants with delicious fruit with that old fashioned heirloom flavor. Â Overview of plant diseases and prevention will be covered.
