UPDATE:  This event has been postponed.  Date TBD.  Whether you have a 1/2 acre garden, raised beds or are growing in pots on your patio there are perfect tomato varieties for you. Foster Hill Farm in Stafford Springs grows over 100 varieties of heirloom tomato plants. Owner, Kim Milikowski, will talk about some of her favorite varieties and growing techniques. Demystify the tomato lingo...hybrid, open pollinated, heirloom, colors and leaf types. Learn about the new Dwarf Tomato varieties that are compact plants with delicious fruit with that old fashioned heirloom flavor.  Overview of plant diseases and prevention will be covered.  Program is free.
